Confined space training IDLH

Theoretical component: 10%
Practical component: 90%

This training is intended for workers required to take part in IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health) operations related to the risks specific to their industry. It aims to develop an advanced level of competence to plan and carry out confined space rescues safely and in compliance with established protocols.
At the end of the training, participants will be able to establish and apply a complete confined space rescue procedure using appropriate equipment and a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

Training objectives:

• Master the safe use of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)
• Respond effectively during rescues requiring respiratory protection equipment
• Apply procedures specific to IDLH interventions
• Manage risks and ensure the safety of the response team

Training content:

• Principles of confined space entry with SCBA
• IDLH entry procedures
• Risk management procedures
• Gas detection and analysis
• Use of equipment: air cart, SCBA, and associated devices
• Practical exercises under realistic conditions, including emergency scenarios
